I followed your week by week instructions and methods and the whole experience of finding and obtaining a teaching position in Zhengzhou
[China] was completed very smoothly.

I know that I could have probably muddled through on my own but your advice was so clear and concise, that I just couldn't go wrong.

Thank you very much

AND Saving some Serious Money?

Think Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan if you want to save up to US$8-12,000 a year.

If you have a degree in ANY major, you qualify to teach English in these countries - and there are even good jobs with NO EXPERIENCE required!

The easiest place to save money these days is Korea.  Free housing, paid airfare, very low income taxes and a low cost of living make it easy to save half your monthly income - without really trying!  Yeah! Up to and over US$1000 per month - without really trying in Korea.

Some jobs pay more modestly - China and Thailand, for example.  Free accommodation with your job is standard in China.  You earn a modest wage, but it's only for food and fun!  Thailand - you won't save much but the quality of life is SUPER!  Ask anyone who lives there.  In both countries you earn enough to travel on the local economy and you'll often be earning several times what the local people earn.

If you don't have a degree - then think Indonesia, rural China, Cambodia, Laos and several other friendly countries if you just want to enjoy yourself, have a good quality of life and still see the world on a modest, but sufficient local wage.

I Can Teach English?

Sure! The #1 requirement is that you are a "native speaker" of English - that English is your first language.  That's it!  Nothing else.  Young, Old, Black, White, Green - no problem.

Do I need to be an English Expert?   No!

You are hired primarily for your natural pronunciation.  Everyone knows the joke about ordering "Flied Lice" - and that is exactly the problem that English students face around the world: Non-Native Speakers of English teaching them BAD pronunciation - that is very hard to UN-learn.  You don't even need to know much about Grammar! Local teachers will be teaching your students the basics.

What?!  Where ARE these Jobs?

Asia!

As we all know - it is not a stereotype that most cultures in Asia deeply value education - and most Asian countries, when the going gets rough and tough - invest more in their English education.

Proof? Look at our jobs pages at the top of this page: all they want is a degree - no experience required.   You'll find the same requirements for the better jobs in China and all the jobs in Thailand, Taiwan and Japan. Easy?  Yeah!

"Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself.
Go forward and make your dreams come true."

--Ralph Waldo Emerson

How Many?

The British Council estimates that over ONE BILLION people are currently learning English world wide.

These impressive numbers are driven by adult speakers around the world who use English to communicate in the workplace.

In an increasingly Globalized World, the number of English learners around the world is only expected to further grow.

Why?

Because the "tigers" of the Asian economies have built their economic booms on International Business - and English is the Language of International  Business.

Where can I SAVE the most money?

Korea was the most popular place for stashing away a good nest egg for a quite a few years, but recent currency changes put China up there too.   For paying off student loans or other debts China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan are popular destinations.

Who can do this?

You can!

And why not? Thousands of people are already doing it.  Young, old, white, brown, black, green - whatever!

  • Stuck in the Rat Race?

Life in the "West" - you just can't get ahead . . . Teach English Abroad for a higher quality life, ability to SAVE money and still travel and see the world.
